Class Descriptions

Parent Child Classes

*Adult Participation Required

Our baby gym program is designed to promote muscle and brain stimulation via gross motor development activities. This class is full of lots of crawling, rolling, standing, walking, climbing and smiling!

Designed for the first time play gym experience, this stimulating parent participation program introduces balancing, tumbling, hanging and agility skills in a fun open environment.

Self-reliance increases at this age. Similar to Lil’ Tumblers 1, however parental involvement gradually decreases as little ones are encouraged to participate in more structured activities.

Not into circle time? Bring your little one to Trick Jam and we’ll show them different tricks around the gym while they play! This class has an open structure that’s great for kiddos who don’t want to sit during circle time. Caregiver supervision required.

Early Years Classes

*Drop Off Classes

This class is designed to help the first time drop-off student feel safe and comfortable. Strength, flexibility and agility are increased as the children are introduced to new gymnastics skills through warm-up and obstacle courses.

This class allows for us to dive deeper into each week’s preschool related theme through creative movement, games, gymnastics obstacles, prop exploration, story time and yoga. Prepare your child for school as they listen and follow directions, sequence, problem solve, build confidence and gain independence. Sign your child up for class and see them GROW!

An introduction to basic gymnastics that engages the preschooler through imagination, props and being silly. A comprehensive warm-up is followed by circuits and stations around the gym.

Adapted from our School Aged Ninja Training class, kids will work on balance, coordination, and teamwork through various obstacle courses and games. This class is based in gymnastics but primarily focused on developing physical confidence and cooperation.

FAQs

What is class assessment?2018-04-19T20:44:48-04:00
  • Each class has a set list of skills that must be mastered in order to progress to the next level
  • At the end of each school aged session, coaches assess students’ abilities using a skill checklist to determine the best fitting class for the next session
  • During assessments, coaches will quickly evaluate the set list of skills for each level
How long will my child be in each level?2018-04-19T20:45:06-04:00
  • Even though all gymnasts experience the exact same learning, no two gymnasts progress at the same rate. One gymnast may complete a level in one session whereas another gymnast might take much longer. Gymnastics is an individual sport and we believe it is important to encourage each gymnast to focus on themselves and always try their best!

  • We want what is best for your gymnast. If your gymnast has prior gymnastics experience, please contact us to schedule a free assessment to ensure appropriate class placement. Otherwise, please register your child for Introduction to gymnastics.
Drop off class2022-07-19T14:38:58-04:00

A drop off class is any class where your child is dropped off and not accompanied by a parent for the class. Please inform us if your child has any physical problems, medical conditions or allergies we should be aware of.

If your child is not yet comfortable being separated from their grown up, we recommend enrolling in one of our Parent Child classes.
