Sensory exploration sets the foundation for all movement patterns and play skills for a young child’s development. Spaces that are able to meet the unique sensory and motor needs of children with all abilities are becoming more important in our communities. This spring at InMovement, we will be offering two inclusive classes that will encourage physical activity for your little ones who are experiencing growth through a unique experience. From play to structure we hope to cultivate a new type of fun for your family!
For six weeks, we will create an inclusive environment for you and your child. In 45 minutes we will explore openly, experience a structured circle time, and tricks around the room. The themes are based on core developmental skills to help build more self regulation, sensory exploration, body awareness, problem solving and motor planning. The class size will be small and intimate. This course will be lead by Tara Martello who is a licensed occupational therapist in the Queen Village area.
