Adult inHomeMovement

As many of you know, we are in the process of launching at-home virtual programming under the name inHomeMovement and we have not forgotten about our 18+ crowd!
We are excited to introduce an adult -at home- workout class via Zoom! inHomeMovement is committed to maintaining our goal to build community involvement and create positive lifelong exercise habits for the whole family. We hope to give Parents and Adult InMovers an opportunity to practice some self-care and move with us!
Our adult programming coordinator/instructor Teresa and our professional aerial instructor Eugenia will guide you through:
  • a cardio warm up
  • stretching
  • conditioning
  • a gymnastics and/or aerial skill
  • cool down
We will also be demonstrating partner stretches, conditioning, and other activities so get your roommate, sibling or significant other to join in!
We are hoping to offer a couple of weekly options for adults in the coming weeks…stay tuned!

Adult Tumbling:

Basic through intermediate gymnastics skills will be introduced in a progressional manner, depending on individual needs. Rolls, cartwheels, round-offs, walkovers, front and back handsprings are some of the skills that will be explored. Work within your level and feel comfortable every step of the way. Beginners welcome. Experienced gymnast, looking for the perfect place to hone your tumbling skills? This class is your answer!

Adult Aerial:

Aerial is a discipline that is a mix of art and sport; it offers the opportunity to exercise both your physical and creative muscles! This class is guaranteed to build upper body strength, core strength and flexibility by training and conditioning on various aerial apparatuses, including: Aerial Hammock, Silks, Dance Trapeze and Aerial Hoop (Lyra). You will learn the foundations for various aerial elements including entering, exiting and other basic and intermediate skills…and maybe brush up on your Spanish too!
